The FinePix A800 is the first model in Fujifilm’s A-Series line-up to sport an eight-MegaPixel Super CCD Sensor and the first to incorporate light sensitivities of up to ISO 800 at full resolution. Borrowing a page from Fujifilm’s more advanced camera models, the FinePix A800 shoots at higher light sensitivities with less noise than comparative models. This results higher quality “natural light” photos and less blur in images as the FinePix A800 matches these higher light sensitivities with faster shutter speeds.

Fujifilm’s A-Series digital cameras are among its most popular models and the FinePix A610 should help continue this trend. This camera has the same comfortable design as the FinePix A800 and is priced right for the first-time digital buyer. Fujifilm Finepix A610 Reviews

Cameras.co.uk has a review of the Fuji Finepix A610 and writes, "Picture quality from the Finepix A610 is roughly in line with other entry level models. The same problems arise such as the camera finds it difficult to focus well when the light gets low. ... The photo I took to test higher ISO worked well. At ISO 400 this camera holds up better than most of its rivals. Although the photo is not perfect there is less deterioration in quality than you find with most digital cameras. ... The Fuji Finepix A610 is a typical entry level camera. I was quite impressed with the outdoor shots in good light, but lower light is a lot harder for the camera. The upside is that it is so easy to use and I also think it has a good solid feel."

LaptopMag has a review of the Fujifilm Finepix A610 and writes, "On our tests, photos looked sharp but oversaturated. Both the image of our colleague and the shot of the vase were a little dark for our tastes. Fortunately, the quality improved when we shot outside. The Finepix A610 fires up quickly but took a lengthy five seconds between shots. QVGA videos are recorded at 30 fps, and they looked better than those captured by the other models."

PCWorld has a review of the Fujifilm FinePix A610 and writes, "Overall, the A610's scores in our image quality tests were about average, but impressive for a budget-priced camera. In lab tests, our jury gave the camera scores slightly above average for the color and exposure accuracy of its images, but rated it slightly below average for image sharpness. ... Although the A610 is a competent low-cost camera, a few more features would make it a better deal."
